Protect your nano (with carbon fiber)

My carbon fiber nano case arrived today. I ordered it a few weeks ago at C6 Manufacturing ($39.99).

The case came in a simple plastic bag. In it is a business card that serves as a package label, an allen wrench, a screen/body protector and the assembled case. You have to unscrew everything (all eight screws) to place the nano snugly in place. Otherwise like me, you’d end up wondering how the nano’s corners would fit between the four small aluminum stands. From there it’s just a matter of screwing all eight screws back in place.

Some suggestions… A small sheet of paper containing assembly instructions would help. I know it’s almost a no-brainer to assemble the case but I was stumped for a few minutes wondering if the nano would indeed fit. It would also be nice to have the allen wrench inside a small plastic bag. I think, though I’m not sure, the allen wrench scratched one part of the carbon fiber during shipping.

Overall, this is a great looking case. It nicely complements the form factor of the nano. Actually, it gives the nano a whole new “personality.”

Check out some of my case pictures then look at some more at C6. I think you’ll agree that this carbon fiber case stands out as one of the best iPod nano cases among the many out there.
