“photoshop” with Seashore
I’ve found myself using Seashore more often now after I discovered a “workaround” for file format conversion.
I have a problem converting images to GIF format. So what I do now is edit images in Seashore and save as JPEG for filing. If I want to convert the images to GIF, I just reopen the image in Preview and save as GIF.
Of course, in Photoshop it’s just a one step process: edit then save (in whatever format I want). But the cool factors here are Seashore is free and Preview is built-in OS X!
Keep in mind that Seashore only offers a limited range of editing features. It’s opensource so hopefully others can add on to its improvement.
