Cool down your laptop
Cool down your Mac laptop (Lifehacker) A user on the MacRumors forums has posted a method for running his MacBook Pro 40˚F-50˚F cooler.
Basically, the mod makes the fans run all the time. There’s an instructions PDF that walks you through modifying info.plist files. If you’re going through with this, remember to backup, and think if the trouble is all worth it.
