Being less social

A couple of days ago, I woke up feeling no interest whatsoever with all of the social sites out there. So I took out a “machete” and cut off all of the sites. Not just cut off, but deleted my accounts. For good.

I’m back to the good ol’ days.

And it feels good!

Wow Joel, you went all 1.0 on us! Seriously though, I completely see where you’re coming from. While I haven’t ‘cut the cord’ completely, I have gone back and deleted a few accounts. I do this every now and then, trying to trim the fat off of my virtual footprint.
