Life stream

I’m finding social sites less and less of a use these days. Over the past months, I have deleted (for real, this time) my accounts in Friendster, Multiply, Facebook, Twitter (and others I can’t remember now).

I’ve decided to just maintain Flickr, Plurk, Delicious, and this blog. There are two sites too which “track” down my web activity. These “lifestreams” are at:

joel.suplido.com and lifestream.fm/joel

I also am back with a MacBook (white, 2.4GHz, 2GB, Firewire!) so you’ll get to hear from me more often now.

I know what you mean. A lot of these social networking sites just add the same type of noise in a bunch of different places.

Glad to hear that you’ve got another Macbook! I picked up the new 15″ Macbook Pro to finally replace my 3.5 year old 12″ Powerbook. There’s something about the 12″ Powerbook though, I’m having trouble really letting go. :-)

My wife still has a 12″ PowerBook. We’re not letting it go :)

Glad to know you have a new MacBook Pro! How is it?

I know what you mean. I’m currently only into Multiply and Facebook; I still have a Friendster account, but I rarely use it, if ever. I got a MySpace account to track down Derek Scanlon (if you remember him :D), then deleted it when I found him and learned that he had a facebook account. :D

No longer in Multiply? Aww, you won’t be able to read my limited contact stuff. :(
