The best skin ever

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

The Best Skins Ever skin installation is probably the most challenging I’ve ever done. It requires the use of soapy water (I used handsoap) to “place” the skin on the surface. Then I had to carefully press out the excess liquid. The process seemed to go on forever because I had to be careful not to displace the skin. The most stubborn parts were the “tabs” found in the corners — the tabs won’t initially stick! The entire process actually reminded me of those people who install car tints — respect to you guys!

After several hours, I can say that the effort was worth it. (There are still some bubbles under the screen-side skin but it’s supposed to disappear).

The price is not bad too: $7.99.

Redesigned MBP MagSafe adapters to ship soon

I’ve already posted this comparison shot of my MagSafe adapters. I thought Apple is already quietly fixing this problem?

Apple is reportedly halting shipments of MagSafe power adapters for the MacBook Pro in favor of redesigned models due later this month. The stop was enacted because of apparent design flaws that can cause the units overheat and fray, especially at the connection point between the brick and the wire according to AppleInsider. Coregaa

That’s so cute!

Use a titanium nano case

titanium nano case

Gizmodo posts about a solid titanium iPod nano case.

If it’s obscenely expensive or shiny (preferably both), odds are, we love it. So obviously we dig the $818 (¥99,750) solid titanium FACTRON Re-Nano iPod nano case from Kiwami Studios. Besides being one of the sexiest (and sturdiest) cases we’ve ever seen, it sports hooks on each corner to allow dangleage from any direction. If only they could forge the follow-up from solid adamantium, we’d be totally sold. Product Page [via Tech Digest]
