I just had to post about this because this is a noteworthy price drop. An iPod for $49 (or $69 for a 2GB’r)… who wouldn’t grab a shuffle now?
After this morning’s store downtime the Shuffle product page shows a $30 price drop to $49.TUAW
Now available are the 16GB iPhone and the 32GB iPod touch. $499 each.

In a move which can only be described as unsurprising, Apple has officially announced plans to lower the price of its iTunes Plus offerings (AKA iTunes sans-DRM) to $.99, instead of the higher-priced premium of $1.29. Engadget
