Engadget has posted pictures of what could be the new MacBook. It came from a Taiwanese site and shows two aluminum shells.
If this is true, then this will really shut the doors on my hope of ever seeing a 12″ MacBook Pro.
(But then, I should say that I’m not comfortable seeing that “MacBook” text a bit off centered.)

Apple - MobileMe - Status was created because
Steve Jobs has asked me to write a posting every other day or so to let everyone know what’s happening with MobileMe, and I’m working directly with the MobileMe group to ensure that we keep you really up to date. via Daring Fireball
I am with MobileMe now and it’s great to have a jsuplido (a) me.com address. The only gripe I have is that MobileMe does not sync with Google Contacts that well… and that it cannot be accessed through Firefox 3 in Ubuntu. I know I can play around with browser id and Wine but I don’t want to get into that sequence of workarounds “just” for MobileMe.

You can’t really turn a Linux system to a Mac, but you definitely can make your Ubuntu Hardy look like a Mac OSX Leopard. Make Tech Easier

I’ve always loved how the iPhone renders text but couldn’t find a suitable ebook reader for it until now. It takes a while to get used to “flicking” pages … and my fingers kept on subconsciously looking for a scrollwheel (I didn’t realize the Clie had such a lasting impression).
Incidentally, there are a lot of free classics at both sites… which I all grabbed for later reading. (The app comes with Tarzan of the Apes and The Last of the Mohicans.)
